Surely, you and all these "gurus" have heard of doing "sudo su", haven't you?
It does the same thing without needing to give "root" a password. Is it that
hard to type?
If I wanted to get into people's systems and I knew they were running Linux,
I'd have to thank everyone who gave "root" a password. It'd make my job a
hell of a lot easier. Of course, I write this from a distro that gives "root"
a password, but I'm seriously considering setting it up otherwise. Don't know
if it would cause problems or not, though.
