Problems with kwin and kwallet. **RESOLVED** Thanks to all.

I don't remember what to do with mv kwinrc kwinrc.orig

I renamed all the kwin  'rc' files.  There were 9.  I am sure I did this part 
wrong, but I highlighted all 9 folders, a window opened and asked if I wanted 
to change the name by numbers, I agreed, and they were renamed New name 1 - 
9.  I don't know which is which to put them back.  I could not find any file 
named kwin, even using 'find' in Dolphin.  With all of them renamed, I booted 
and still had to enter kwin in a shell to get it working again.  The minute I 
close the konsole, kwin crashes.

When I first boot after making changes, a dos-like screen whizzes by.  An 
asterik was red on one of the first page each boot, before I changed the 
names on the first page of the reboot.  I could not read it, however.  When I 
re-established kwin the last time, then rebooted after losing it by closing 
the terminal, the dos-like pages no longer appeared at boot-up.  It went 
straight to the Del logo, then choice of OS, then login.

I was expecting things to work this time.  They didn't.  What do I try next?  
Any ideas?
