Converting video to Motion jpeg

If you aren't all that happy with command line conversion you could 
use Kino.  'sudo apt-get install kino'.  Using the command line you 
could use mencoder.  Not quite sure about the command line argument 
you would use for that but Google is your friend for more 
information.
