System boot problem, BusyBox related?

Type the following in the 'initramfs' prompt:
(initramfs) modprobe piix
(initramfs) exit

Then it would boot normally. There are some posts here suggesting possible
options to rectify this once and for all, so that it won't get stuck the
next time you get into Ubuntu:

But for me none worked.

BTW, which version of Ubuntu are you using?
