PDF reader that lets one override fonts

Dotan,

I kept forgetting to drop you a line on this one.  I checked the PDF
Hacks book that my friend has, and it did not have anything about
replacing the fonts via programming.  This still sounds like an
interesting project and I am sure that there is a way to do it, but it
would probably require reading the PDF file with a program and finding
the font definitions and replacing them as you write the file back out
(to a new file).  I haven't done enough work with PDFs to know whether
that is possible with ease.
