password management in Kubuntu

Hello,

Normally in order to use my computer I need to type 3 passwords:

One for KDM (login)
One for KWalletManager (wireless etc)
One for Firefox.

I recently decided that I didn't care that much about the wireless
passwords on my laptop, and set Knetworkmanager to store the passwords
on a clear text file. Then I discovered that Knetworkmanager decided
to

1. delete all my passwords in kwallet,
2. without even copying any of them.

To add insult to injury, Knetworkmanager won't connect automatically
to networks if I have the "store passwords in clear text". So now I am
back to using kwallet but with many passwords lost.

[...]

Is there any way to unlock kwallet, by using the password used at login?

Or to at least unlock Firefox's password manager using kwallet?

Cheers,
