I could not reproduce this issue with the latest version on hardy.
Please make sure to test this with the latest version from
https://launchpad.net/~txwikinger/+archive and see if it is
reporducible.

I installed bibletime_1.6.5a-1~ppa_i386.deb and bibletime-i18n_1.6.5-1~ppa1_all.deb
and now Bibletime seems to be OK :-)
