How do I copy contents of a URL into Open Office?

I am finally learning the shell. I am reading from a URL,
http://linuxcommand.org/lts0030.php The part of the page I am wanting a
copy is still quite large. When I highlight the portion I want, then
right click, the page changes to another page. I have a document open
in an adjacent window and want to copy the info to that doc.. Every
time I try anything I think would work, the only thing that transfers to
the doc page is a copy of the URL. What I want is a copy of basic
commands to refer to, until I can memorize them. I will put it on my
Desktop for reference, while I am attempting to use them properly.
How can I copy and paste from a Konqueror site to a .otd or .doc page
without just copying a web address? TIA.
Steven
