I have simple shellscript that opens some specific documents with ooffice
from a konsole, and once ooffice spins off, it then proceeds to open a
related text file with vim...

I was using it in sabayon, But since I just got a brand new hardy
installation all nice and configured I thought I'd see if it worked
just as good under Kubuntu... It does, but I notice that when
openoffice.org 2.4 starts up I see an konsole message about

"javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!"

That I wasn't seeing when sabayon fires up openoffice.org 2.3
It doesn't seem to mater But I don't know WHY ooffice wants java. It
occured to me that some functionality might run better if it has it.
So I searched http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/allpackages for java, and
soon found:

ia32-sun-java5-bin (1.5.0-15-0ubuntu1) [multiverse]
    Sun Java(TM) Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 (32-bit)

Which apt-get said it had been replaced by sun-java5-jre Which I
installed. The next time I ran my script I found out that javaldx still
cant find a runtime environment...

It probably doesn't mater, I expect to see odd things when I start gui
applications from a konsole But I'd like to think that after I installed
sun-java5-jre, javaldx should have been able to find it...

Am I missing something stupid here or what???
