I didn't know that.

Another thing that bugs me about opening files from the net with OO is that
it does it in some manner that's completely different from _every_ other
app I've ever used.

Generally, when I click on a file link, it either gets opened by some local
app, or I get a prompt asking whether to save or open it.  If I ask to have
it opened by OO, instead of just opening the downloaded stream, it appears
to send a separate request to the server for the file - requiring me to log
in again to sites requiring a login.  So it takes a minute to start up OO,
and only _then_ do I get a username/password prompt.  It's generally faster
to save to /tmp and then open the /tmp file.
