If you can start testing the 9.04 (Jaunty) beta, then that is best. It
is wholy usable as a daily driver, however, there are some ATI and
Nvidia video display issues that you can help iron out. In all
liekelyhood you will be able to upgrade the beta to the released
version in one month's time.

However, don't forget that it is a _beta_ so have backups!
