I *never* arbitrary banned a thread that made sense on this support
list. The only reason to add a thread to the Spam filter is when it
goes OT and people don't even bother to change the subject line
accordingly or continue the thread even if asked to stop..
But, if a list moderator says that a subject is closed, you are not
supposed to continue to add *any* comments, as you did today on a
subject that was indeed closed. It has been filtered now.
Derek, understand that this list absolutely needs moderation as it far
too often goes OT without changing the subject line and has repeatedly
threads that end in flame wars and personal attacks, and we have had
quite some people who unsubscribed from the list because of that. This
is an official Ubuntu list, so the CoC applies and everybody has to
follow it.
