Ext4/Ext3 question

What do you expect to gain switching to ext4 ?

Yes, ext4 is an advancement over ext3, and for sure the way of the  
future. However, most of the advantages only come into play with truly  
huge file systems, which the average user does not have.

Just stick with ext3 wold be my advice... Even a tiny risk of data  
lose really isn't worth the gains...
