That is the icon for what a folder should look like. They have this
icon so you know they are folders and not something else. You can
change the names for each one.

This is easy. Right click the k-start and pick panel menu. Then pick
menus and at the bottom change the number to what you will.

Don't know. Also, I am not sure that is true.
