temp monitoring in KDE 4.2

Hi,
I am using 8.10 with KDE 4.2 and Nvidia 7600GT.

I.
One of the very few things that I miss from the times of KDE 3.5x
is monitoring my harddisk temperatures from the desktop.

I installed the systemmonitor-temperature widget and this works greatly
for cpu and motherboard temps, but not for my harddisk.

If I activate the old ksensors from 3.5x, my harddisk temperatures are 
shown as expected.

II.
Another thing:
With KDE 3.5x I had a utility that showed the temperature of my nvidia 
card in the panel. Unfortunately I forgot the name.

Anyway, I cannot find something similar for KDE 4.2.

Any ideas about harddrive and video temperature monitors for KDE 4.2 are 
wellcome.
