KUbuntu 8.10 and KNetworkManager

Hi,
I have some problems with KNetworkManager provided by KUbuntu 8.10. In fact, I 
have sometimes problems to connect to the WiFi network (but it is seen as 
existing). I have then to start the applet over and over again, and finally, 
it works (without any changes). Sometimes also, the connection is lost without 
any particular reason. I ask the applet to reconnect, and everything works 
fine again.
Any ideas ?
