Subject: Using all new components with no OS installed, How do I, install the BIOS. Intrepid 64 at completion.

Prior to sending the motherboard back to ASUS, I tested the Heat Sink Fan on 
one of the 3pin fan outlets.  The Heat Sink Fan worked then.  I am sure it is 
a motherboard problem and will work fine with the new motherboard.

When I apply the arctic silver, how do I know the appropriate amount to use?  
What should I apply it with?  When the two pieces merge, do any 
irregularities of coating thickness self-adjust?

I cleaned both the Processor and the Heat Sink using alcohol.
