Subject: Using all new components with no OS installed, How do I, install the BIOS. Intrepid 64 at completion.

sure. Just look up your motherboard manual's bios section, how to set
the boot order
They provide a CD

This does not apply to Linux. Simply forget about this CD, unless you
want to install Windows directly to your disk.
Additionally, I don't even have a floppy drive.
This does not matter anymore.

You can, but you will not need this. Just set your boot order to DVD
being first and then boot from DVD.

No, Intrepid CDs are what they were, when Intrepid was launched. So as
long as you plan to use intrepid, it does not matter, when you download
the iso.

yes you can. However my experience is that the alternate install CD
quite often works where the Live-CD install fails.
