Do not fix it, it it ain't broken!

So I do not upgrade a Bios unless the new Bios promises to fix something 
which I absolutely need and which the existing Bios does wrong.

I agree that your asus experiences offer much room for improvement.

In my experience Asus are about the only manufacturers that offer a 
decent CPU fan regulation which can really slow down the CPU fan to an 
acceptable level of noise.

I tried some MSIs and ASRocks over the years but I could not get them to 
properly control the CPU fan. And "always at full speed" is not what I 
would call a good fan control.
