Ktorrent xpert needed.

I had problems to fix with my system and had to boot while torrents were 
downloading.  The partially downlowed files still exist in my 
/media/disk-1/Downloads folder, however, their status in the ktorrent gui for 
each of them is Error: Data files are missing.  When I click on them to restart 
them, I get the following error:  Cannot recreate missing files:  Cannot create 
directory 
/media/disk-1/Downloads/Ace.Ventura.Jr.Pet.Detective.2009.DVDRip.XviD-
JACKVID/:  Could not make folder 
/media/disk-1/Downloads/Ace.Ventura.Jr.Pet.Detective.2009.DVDRip.XviD-
JACKVID/.

Nonetheless, when I check that directory and folder, they do exist and do 
contain data.

Is there a way to recover the process and complete the downloads?
