lircrc, kaffeine, and other KDE apps

Hello,

Yesterday I spent some time configuring remote control support (LIRC)
for amarok. Some questions:

-- Does anyone in here has done the same for kaffeine? If so, could
you send it to me?

-- Are there KDE applications that work as LIRC clients (instead of
depending on mode setting and irexec)?

-- Is anyone aware of KDE4 desktop support (plans?) for LIRC?
