How do I unite cd1 to cd2? Is Kino the tool?

Dear Matt,

When I opened user files, I clicked on Media to see if I could see the storage 
partitions; the only partition showing is sdb3, which is my Primary Boot 
Partition for the OS.  What is going on?  Do you have any clues?
