How do I install a .bin. I downloaded a Java plugin needed to run some tests by the isp.

The more function was only briefly mentioned.  How do I use that feature?  Do 
I have to be in a particular directory?  Then, do I simply type in 'more' and 
press enter?  What is the procedure?
