Hello list!

I moved my previous Kubuntu9.04 installation from old PC to a new one.
Old had ATI 3100 and i was not very impressed by it's performance. I
thought that thing can change if i get nvidia video. So I've got
brand-new computer with NVIDIA 8200 onboard:
$ lspci | grep VGA
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 8200 (rev a2)

I replaced HDD from old PC the new, then deleted
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules in order to have networking
working :)

Then i installed latest nvidia-glx driver and log in. After ~1 min of
working i was kicked out to kdm welcome screen. Hmmm. Looking X-server
logs I found that x-server crashed:

Backtrace:
0: /usr/bin/X(xorg_backtrace+0x3b) [0x813518b]
1: /usr/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x55) [0x80c7be5]
2: [0xb7f91400]
Saw signal 11. Server aborting.

Googling didn't help :( I didn't found any information at nvnews.net
either, so I had to move to the nv driver.

Any help with nvidia-glx driver is appreciated :)

Have a nice day,
-Alex
