I just installed it and ----- it's fast.....

P.S. I right-clicked on the downloaded firefox-3.5b4.tar.bz2 and chose 'Extract Archive Here'. It 
extracts to a folder named 'firefox'. I then moved it to /opt (sudo mv firefox /opt) and created 
a link to/opt/firefox/firefox
