KDE messed up on update from Hardy to Jaunty

There was some noise about this on the list earlier. I think it's a matter of 
renaming the ~/.kde directory to ~/.kdeold and then re-boot. KDE 4 should now 
make ~/.kde again and you get to then merge stuff like email info (etc.) one by 
one back from .kdeold -- It's all about letting KDE 4 have it's own fresh 
configuration.
