upgrade 8.04 -> 9.04+kde3: how?

Ian, the day will come when KDE 3 is no longer supported. If you'd
like to get all the functionality of KDE 3 in KDE 4 before that
happens, then let me know (on or off list) and we will file bugs and
feature requests. Thanks!
