let's do this one step after the other.
So your first three steps are
1. take care
2. visit a doctor's
3. relax until your headache is cured.
Computers usually can wait until humans come back sitting in
fornt of them.:-))
In regards to the router:
When this worked before, but does not do now, reset the
router to factory default.
If this does not work either, I would think that there might
be something wrong with the router. In this case use the
other router that you have in stock.
We must ensure that your notebook works with the router!
Only after this you will be able to send mail with your
laptop and at the same time be in a postion to cure your
desktop machine which then will be connected to a "known
working ok" router port.
