Server choices - linux / MS?

Strange, I had never heard of this SME Server but from the look of it 
(online manuals etc) it seems a bit more straightforward than Ebox. Ebox 
has x number of features I have never used and likely never will but 
share the same basic concept of easy replacement for Windows 200x server 
with or without email server.
