qemu 64bit: jaunty or karmik 64 doesn't install

I get that message on every desktop machine on which I have installed any
version of Kubuntu. I used to worry about it when I first saw it [I never
saw it with Mandriva], but it doesn't seem to have any obvious effect.

(NB I am not talking about virtual machines here; I'm just trying to make
the point that I've never seen any evidence that that error really means
much in practice.)

So you might try just ignoring it and booting as normal.
