I didn't know kde had one. I am using the plugin for gkrellm, and that
continued to work well after I upgraded from f8 to f10 here. So you might
want to look into that. It cycles through the data in a one line display, or
in kde-4.2 hovering the mouse over it pops up the full report from the local
airport, in my case about 18 miles away.

Excellent observation, too bad they haven't studied it.
