I'm sorry but I have to address this. I need to know if you think either I or
Nigel were making fun of you? Because neither is true. I was honest when I
said I have no idea how to decipher the code Nigel posted. I'm sorry you're
having a hard time with this, but assuming I or Nigel were being jerks about
it is a false assumption. I can't even imagine what prompted you to think I
or Nigel would "infect" your machine with a virus. The problem appears to me
that you are running alpha Software (now that I know you're running Jaunty)
that isn't close to public consumption.
I'm not happy that you would jump my case considering the fact that I could
have just kept quiet and let you flounder due to not being able to follow what
appeared to be easy instructions. I never intended to offend you, and I'm very
certain Nigel did not as well.
Oh, and I can assure you, as long as you demonstrate a willingness to research
the answer a little yourself before asking the list, you'll find most everyone
willing to answer your questions. I highly doubt anyone has put a filter on
your email, but very many more of these and they will. Normally folks will
filter the one the "caused" the problem, not the one who was subjected to the
problem (unless they provoked it in some way).

I struggle to find anything in either of our messages that would be construed
as "Bad Behavior".
I would very highly recommend that you buy a manual on Linux (there are
several on Amazon, or a book store) and get the ideas and principles down.
There were some very good instructions given and you appear to have a problem
understanding them. NOTE WELL: I'm not upset, nor discouraged that you don't
get this. I picked up this thread for two reasons: 1. you were wanting to
read the Bible. 2. you seemed to be struggling.
I'm sorry you're upset or considered my email rude or bad behavior.
I really hope I can help in some way in the future. I've received a lot more
help than I've ever been able to provide back, but I try as often as I think I
can.
