It may be a "multi-user environment" but for many it is/will be a 
single-user system. Not all Linux installs wind up in "multi-user 
environments". Especially as more and more Joe and Jill Homeusers start 
using it.

Besides, sometimes a good Re-Boot gives me a good excuse to go get 
another "cup" of my favorite beverage.
