Hi all,

please find below a set of rules on how this list works. The complete
set of guidelines can be found here [1].

This list is meant for general Kubuntu-related tech support and we
hope you find it useful for any issues or questions you have. As this
list is support-related, we do have a few guidelines that we ask you
to follow:

  * Remember the Ubuntu Code of Conduct [2]

  * Stay on topic - this is a support list; there are other places and
lists for non-support subjects.

  * Threads and subject changes - please modify the thread subject if
it is not going to relate to the original post. It is much better to
start a fresh subject than to use another as more people may notice
the fresh topic.

  * Learn to quote (see Technical Guidelines in [1]): the maximum size
of a message is set to 40 kB, which is enough for almost all mails.
Attachments should be sent to a pastebin [3], not to the list.

  * There is a searchable archive available at Nabble [4] where you
might find a solution to your question if it has been asked before.

  * Please refrain from flaming, trolling, personal attacks or
insults, as well as endless/repetitive arguments.

If necessary, measures will be taken if a thread strays too far or
gets out of hand. Hopefully, this will not occur very often.

Regards, Myriam, and the Kubuntu Team.
