Downloads do not complete. Jaunty Alpha6 KDE

Steven, you've lots of help helping you with broken downloads. If I am not mistaken, you've mentioned you are on Jaunty. (yes,great version).

If that is the case, you do not need to download the whole (all 650 mB)new alpha version(say, from apha 4 to alpha5).

You just need to 
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

(or aptitude, adept, sypnaptic or whatever fancies you)


On a separate note, please be prepared that some upgrades actually make some applications or functions worse, you'll need to wait for further updates (in a day or 2) to correct these. Alpha (or Beta) versions are not meant for 'production' and you are not to yell that something breaks. Hopefully, you can file bug reports if you noticed something wrong that nobody else has filed reports for. (Usually, they are taken care of by people better than us)
