I have had to put a hold on this instruction. Yesterday, an update for
Jaunty has caused me to lose video completely. I haven't gotten it
back yet. I am waiting for an update that fixes it. Because of my lack
of experience, I have been installing all updates without reviewing
them. Strangely enough I noticed the download of a new fix for the
180.37 nvidia driver. I did not want it but was too slow to stop it.
It installed and I lost my GUI. When I boot to try to fix, the error
messages show a fatal error relating to nvidia, and I am pretty sure it
was that update. I guess I am going to have to wait for the fix to come
in another update. Do you know any to reverse the last driver update?
If I could get it out, I things would work fine again. Even with this
troublesome problem, I still love the new Jaunty. It is something else
for an improvement.

I had to build this box I am writing from just to have access to the
Internet and email. It is a little slow, but works until the update
arrives.

Steven
