Logging Internet Gateway Distro/Software?

Our main internet gateway at work is a IPCop box (Linux distro), its great as 
a firewall/router but it lacking in the logging side of things.

We don't need to log peoples site visits etc, but we have a reall problem with 
bandwidth consumption (expensive here in Oz) and need to see which IP 
addresses are gobbling our bandwidth, and when.

Can anyone recommend software/distro's?
