LOL.  Me too.  I remember KDE 1 to 2: painful.  I remember KDE 2 to 3: not 
so painful.  KDE 3.5 to 4.1: horrendous.  Finally KDE 3.5 to 4.2: still 
pretty painful, but on the right track.
