That's simply not true.  Name something (let alone half the previous 
features) that you can't do.  I will bet we can show you how to do it in 90% 
of cases.  Some issues were bugs that are already fixed.  Some need to be 
reconfigured.  I've only found a handful of things that I flat out can't do 
- and the only I use enough to remember is the missing "locate" kio slave.  
I wonder if _anybody_ but me was using it?  Certainly the one time I filed a 
bug against it in 3.5, I got no response.  Installing the kio-locate package 
doesn't seem to do a thing.
