KDE Console freezes arbitrarily under Karmic/AMD64 - GNOME unaffected

Ha!  Spoke too soon!

I logged out of my GNOME session and logged straight back into the same 
account under KDE.  I put in the KWallet password to load up  Choqok.  Then I 
fired up Kontact.

CRASH!

That's another theory out of the window then.

I rebooted, and here I am in KDE again, replying on KMail (which is so much 
nicer than Evolution.  I closed down Choquk without invoking KWallet.  I'm 
going to remove the KWallet option if I can.  Might also try Compiz window 
manager.
