DHCP timeout for WPA-encrypted WLAN network

Sadly, I had no luck with wicd. With Network Manager, I wasn’t able to connect 
to a WPA-encrypted network but was able to connect to an unencrypted network. 
With wicd, I wasn’t able to connect to the same unencrypted network. The same 
problem as with Network Manager and the WPA network: my laptop couldn’t 
receive a DHCP answer. I didn’t try wicd with a WPA network since I don’t have 
any at hand at the moment.

So I now use Network Manager again.
