His brother has a 2nd computer to run Windows just for Facebook. This
means he has a Windows license and thus can install Windows inside VBox. By
doing so he cuts his machines from 2 to 1. Even better, he can run VBox in
Seamless Mode and let the Windows applications use the native window manager
and forgo the Windows Dekstop thus saving screen real-estate as well.
Basically in this day-and-age unless you are doing heavy 3D graphics work
(3D games qualify as 3D graphics work for this statement) and are either
running two machines or dual-booting for the purposes of keeping access for
Windows applications VBox will pretty much simplify that setup immensely
without having to jump through the incompatibility issues present in wine.
So, no, I wasn't thinking of wine. ;)
