grub error 18

The grub is not reinstalled but bios might changed. The error 18
indicate that the kernel is located at position beyond the bios.
Previously I sometime face this problem but it was when the fstab do
not use uuid for the partition.

So, if what you inform is accurate, that might be some uuid change in
the disk so that the bios could not find the partition. Please check
if that is the case.
