amanda on 6.06

Greetings;

Is anyone using the amanda client on a kubuntu-6.06 LTS system to allow the 
main server access?  I've had apt-get install the client and its 
dependencies, but I can't find the configuration files, nor can I find where 
the daemon is started on this system.

Any help will be appreciated very much.
