where to turn off screen/power saver function in kde 4.4 karmic.

Since the recent upgrade to KDE 4.4 on Karmic (9.10), a setting seems 
to have changed somewhere that now activates a screen save/ power save 
function that I cannot track down and disable. I did this once(several 
times) before on kde 4.x. in the power save options and those settings 
have not changed AFAICT. Anyone know where this new parameter/function 
call or however it is activated is coming from and importantly how to 
disable it?
