One thing you can do is use Knoppix to blank the current administrator 
password, which could give you access to the system.

Personally, I'm not in favor of Windows as a good server platform, but if you 
want to access the system as is before blowing it away and installing a Linux 
server system (I like Debian or Ubuntu server) the you should be able to.

Get the O'Reilly book, "Knoppix Hacks" which will tell you how to use it to 
perform a lot of administrator tasks on windows.  It will even allow you to 
install Knoppix as various servers itself.
