Chuckle, with a VBG.  The one advantage to all those years that comes to 
mind is that we have managed to outlive our enemies, but I can't think of 
much else.

The only windows I have used is maintaining the winderz boxes, in 
partnership with one other, more windows familiar person at the tv station 
during the 18 years I was the CE.  I did buy a lappy with xp on it about 5 
years back, but that got wiped by a *nix install not long after.

Dunno.  Ric seems to think he qualifies, but he is only in his early 60's, 
so he occasionally needs reminded to respect his elders.  ;-)

OTOH, the image is that this 'linux' is a young mans game, but many of the 
folks here are 40+ YO.  I wonder if there is a web page someplace that 
attempts to survey the ages of the users vs the OS?  It might show that 
there are more Sid Dabsters than we think.  I could try & pass, but I have 
way too much beer gut to get by with it. :)
