Adding home folder/trash can to desktop + plea for simplicity

Of course not, that's why I mentioned the bug report [1] in the other
mail. I'd expect that either I'm asked on which desktop I want to have
the current customization or to have that customization copied to all
desktops.

Thinking about it again, it seems you found another bug. This behaviour
isn't mentioned in the bug report although it might be related. Maybe
you should add that info to the existing bug report or file a new one.
