network is down after resume from hibernating

 Hello

 I installed 10.04 but run into the following problem. I
 have a wired connection successfully configured with the
 I presume, knetworkmanger, but after
 reboot my IP is lost, I have to disable and enable the
 network, with the unchcanged configuration values. That
 never happened with 8.04 or 6.04.  Does anybody know about
 it?
