Ok. I was jumping to the conclusion that you used Konqueror for web browsing
only. Even though I am a long time KDE user I have gotten used to (and happy
with) using Dolphin when file browsing.

I never used it for that. I'd second Clay in that a bug/feature report would
be appropriate.
